Brief
Drizzle makes and distributes all-American desserts all over the world. Their main product is made with attention to detail and available in stores worldwide. Their target audience is young adults and they want to convey a sense of security, while at the same time being lively.
Create a full branding package that encorpirates Drizzles key attributes. Drizzle needs the full roster, a fresh logo, packaging, a consistent visual system. All designs need to be useable on physical packaging, napkins, bags and also social media like templates and scalable assests. Drizzle has given full creative freedom.
Challenge
The challenge I encountered the most was making the design recognisable around the world as Drizzle ships world wide. The whole branding package needed to follow this key aspect of the brief as it's vital that it resonates with customers around the world.
Solution
Through many variations I decied that the best direction to proceed with was to create a design that uses minimal type and focus mainly on the brand icon and pattern. This makes the brand recognisable through image instead of type. Making this decision greatly freed up the design process and guaranteed that my design would meet the requirements of Drizzle and their customers.
